Coaches Bio:
Background:
I started playing poker as soon as I turned 21 in 2017. I played on PokerStars NJ starting with $1 spin n go’s. I then found tournaments and quickly fell in love with the format. My biggest score there was an NJSCOOP win for $5,000. PokerStars PA opened in 2019, just a few months after I moved to the state permanently. I had some early success in tournaments but struggled in 2020 due leaks in both poker and life. I was working a demanding day job and playing when exhausted, not studying properly, not following proper bankroll management, or game selection. I appreciate these struggles because they have made me a more resilient and grounded poker player today.
Recent Results:
In late 2020 I had a coaching session that completely changed how I think about the game. My all-time graph visibly shows that inflection point around game 2500. 2021 was a breakout year as I hit bigger and more consistent scores including: $13.8k PASCOOP HR win, $11.6k PSPA Sunday Special chop, $10k Pennsylmania FT, and a $9.8k PACOOP Sunday Special 3rd.
2022 was the most successful year I’ve had as a player. I won a WSOP Bracelet, 2 WSOP Circuit Rings, and a PASCOOP Trophy. I beat a $155 average buy in for a 60% ROI for the year.
Coaching Experience:
I coached about 20-25 students over the past year. My students saw great success winning WSOP Bracelets, PSPC Platinum Passes, and other online series events.
I am excited to teach my knowledge and understanding of the game to positively impact someone else’s life. Somebody was able to change my life, so my goal is to do the same for others. My prior teaching experience in accounting has translated well into poker and I am excited about the new updates to my coaching business going forward.
